Seabiscuit statue with Red Pollard Santa Anita Handicap

"Final Victory"
Seabiscuit bronze statue with jockey John "Red" Pollard crossing the
finish line of the Santa Anita Handicap.
A bas relief sculpture of the final moments of the Santa Anita Handicap races
across the sideof the base of the bronze racehorse statue.

Racehorse statue sculpted by equine Artist Kim Corpany and jockey by Stan Watts

The bronze Seabiscuit statue of horse racing legend Seabiscuit is shown above in rich full color patina and also as seen in the photo below in traditional french brown patina.

The finished bronze racehorse statue
is mounted on a beautiful walnut wood base.

This bronze Seabiscuit statue is rich with detail.  One of the wonderful details of this piece is the Saint Christopher medal pinned just behind the number one on the left side of Seabiscuit's saddle blanket by Marcela Howard before the great horse raced.

The final moment of the Santa Anita Handicap is sculpted in bronze in
bas relief across the right side of the bronze sculpture in art deco design.
The left side of the bronze sculpture base shows in art deco writing:

THE 1940 SANTA ANITA HANDICAP
"FOUR GOOD LEGS"
SEABISCUIT AND RED POLLARD

This remarkable bronze Seabiscuit statue is available as a limited edition of 75 pieces.
It is currently priced at $4,800.
