This patriotic bronze horse sculpture depicting General George Washington astride his dapple grey stallion at Valley Forge. Washington had a number of different mounts during the revolutionary war, the horse depicted here was known as "Blueskin" a Half-Arabian who was one of only two of Washington's horses to survive through the entire war. Washington retired the two horses, Blueskin and Nelson to Mount Vernon after the Revolutionary War.
